The Community Data Project is a collaborative effort to create a central repository for Arizona's substance abuse and crime data. The Web site will provide a one-stop portal for users to select the type of data needed, demographic characteristics, and the geographic level of interest. In addition, a range of output options including data tables, graphs and maps will be offered to users to cover a variety of reporting needs. Our overall vision for this Web site is to encourage the use of localized data as a way of maximizing decision-making capabilities around substance abuse and crime prevention and intervention. The Web site is currently under construction, but we anticipate it will be ready by late summer, 2010. Please visit us then.
