This executive level, at-will position works under the general policy direction of the Presiding Judge and Juvenile Court Presiding Judge, and
the immediate supervision of the Court Administrator. The ideal candidate for the position of Chief Juvenile Probation Officer must have
outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal qualities that will bring strength, stability, and credibility to the position and
programs, as well as contributing strong management to the Department staff and fiscal accountability for overall operations with approximately
700 full-time employees and operating budget of more than $59 million. The successful candidate will be an innovative thinker and creative
problem solver, able to contribute to the range of evidence-based juvenile, preventative, and restorative justice models incorporated by the
Department. A Bachelor’s degree is required plus a minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience working in the juvenile
justice system, which could include probation, corrections, or family programs. A Master’s degree is preferred. The annual salary range for
this position is up to $156,249 and includes the use of a County vehicle and a comprehensive benefits package. Apply immediately. This position
