The Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC) is a statutorily authorized entity, which carries out various coordinating, monitoring, and reporting functions
regarding the administration and management of criminal justice programs in Arizona. ACJC serves as a resource and service organization for Arizona’s criminal
justice community on a myriad of issues ranging from drugs, gangs and victim’s assistance to criminal history and statewide policy development through statistical
research and analyses.
ACJC is pleased to announce the internship opportunities below. Interning at ACJC provides students an opportunity for workplace learning, at a government agency.
Interns will assist staff on a variety of research, reports, and projects which influence criminal justice policy decisions, across Arizona. Internships are available for credit.
The ideal intern brings the following qualities:
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Competent in compiling criminal justice-related data and information from the internet
- Knowledge of criminal justice issues and programs
- Shows initiative and possesses a desire to learn
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Collaborates in a team environment
- Detail oriented with excellent time management skills
